I made a special trip to visit this amazing plant boutique. I'm from Northern illinois, and I attended a wedding in Missouri. On my way home, I knew I had to stop at this beautiful place because I had seen videos on social media. To say that it was magical is the understatement of the year. Upon entering, one is undeniably transported. There are thousands of plants. I spoke with the owner, a lovely young woman whose passion for plants was apparent in everything she did and said. She was delightful, so welcoming and kind. The plants were very healthy and so lovely. Beyond plants and tons of plant accessories, one can find so many unique gifts. Fairy garden items, clothing, cards, decor, planters, candles, artwork, and so much more. But honestly? It's not the inventory and merchandise that begs me to return to this beautiful store. It is the ambiance. The magic. ✨️🪴💚🔮🪄 The owner has created a space that transports us to a softer, calmer space in our minds. This beautiful boutique feels like a warm hug from the Universe. I will drive the four hours to return. I will bring friends. I encourage anyone who longs to be enchanted, anyone who needs a shift in perspective...to allow this

We stumbled into this shop on date night and I absolutely LOVE this shop! The selection is insane and I wish I could live there hahaha I am so excited with my new plants. Not pictured is a Chinese evergreen silver bay!

I cannot say enough good things about Miss Folia Plant Co!!! From the second you walk in, it feels like the most thoughtfully curated, calming little escape. Every plant is beautiful and healthy, and you can tell so much care goes into selecting each one. It’s not just a plant shop—it’s an experience. What really sets it apart is Sophie, the owner. She is beyond caring when it comes to her customers—she genuinely takes the time to help, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident in what you’re bringing home. You can tell how much heart she puts into both the shop and the people who walk through the door. The entire space is so aesthetically done—clean, elevated, and inspiring without feeling stuffy. Every detail feels intentional. If you’re local (or even if you’re not), it is 1000% worth a visit. I always leave with something I love and about 10 more plants on my wish list. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sophie since the very beginning of Miss Folia, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is truly one of the most kind, thoughtful, and passionate individuals I’ve met, and it shows in every aspect of her business. Over the past few years, my husband and I have purchased several plants from Miss Folia, all of which have been healthy, beautiful, and thoughtfully curated. What has stood out even more is Sophie’s genuine care for her customers—she went above and beyond by nursing two of my struggling plants back to health at no charge, which speaks volumes about her integrity and dedication. Her shop is not only stunning but also a true reflection of the love and intention she puts into her craft. The space feels welcoming, inspiring, and incredibly well cared for. I’m especially looking forward to hosting a gathering in her event space once the weather warms up.
